ConnectPoint Search Group is looking for a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst with accounting experience for a local direct hire opportunity. This is a unique opportunity to work with a well-positioned organization in the greater Sacramento area. This position will focus on financial analysis and general ledger accounting. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the following:- Financial Reporting
- General Ledger Reconciliation
- Budgeting, Forecasting and Variance Analysis
- Month End Close
- Ad Hoc Reporting
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required; CPA or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 6 years accounting experience with financial analysis and general ledger experience
- Minimum of 4 years experience with forecasting and analysis
- Ability to prepare financial statements
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP, General Ledger, Balance Sheet
- Strong analytic and systems abilities
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables (required) and V & H Lookup
- Experience with a mid to large size ERP system
- Manufacturing industry experience and understanding of cost accounting are highly desired
- Excellent communication skills, ability to meet deadlines and work in an environment with shifting priorities
Compensation:
Pay rate is between $70,000 to $80,000 annually; depending on experience.
