ConnectPoint Search Group is currently looking for a Payroll Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity in the Central Valley area. This is a wonderful opportunity for professional growth. Our client is an industry leader with an excellent management team.
The successful candidate will be able to manage the payroll interface/workflow between Accounting, Human Resources and outside vendors, and will provide first-rate service to company employees with payroll queries. Other duties include reconciliation of accounts, handling payroll tax inquiries, resolving tax and wage variances, conducting audits and maintaining appropriate account coding.
The Payroll Specialist will have the following Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including hands-on experience processing payroll, commissions, bonuses and other expenses.
- Ability to oversee one payroll processor
- Ability to oversee local, state and federal taxes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Solid MS Word and Excel experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field highly preferred
- APA certification preferred but not required
