The Senior Accountant should be a strong individual with advanced accounting and technical skills with the desire to participate in the ongoing development of the department. The Senior Accountant will have the following Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4+ years experience in a Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant role
- Experience with ERP systems, JD Edwards strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP, general ledger, fixed assets, journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting
- Strong knowledge of accounting applications and Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to prepare monthly and quarterly reports and financial statements, assist with report analysis, as well as month- and year-end close
- Advanced analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills
- Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA a plus
Compensation:
Annual salary range is $50,000 to $70,000 commensurate with experience.
