Network Security Administrator

ConnectPoint Search Group has an immediate need for a Network Security Administrator for a full-time opportunity in Sacramento.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- 7 years or more of IT networking experience in an enterprise environment
- Current Cisco Routing/Switching CISSP certification is strongly desired
- Monitor system and network security, take corrective measures to ensure zero loss of data, and make recommendations for purchases and upgrades
- Perform daily auditing and monitoring of all security logs, including internet usage, for unauthorized transactions and intrusions
- Develop and maintain information security policies and standards to maintain the security of the computing environment
- Work with other teams on security-related functions such as business continuity and privacy practice implementation
- Actively promote system security awareness programs
- Participate in IT projects to ensure that new applications and procedures will comply with established security policies and standards
- Audit system access requests to ensure compliance with established security policies and application standards
- Evaluate and recommend solutions to current or potential security threats
- Participate in formal risk assessment reviews to determine critical points of business exposure
Compensation
- Annual salary is DOE
